Recommended Periodicals

Data Communications Magazine

www.data.com

If I had to pick a single periodical to keep me up to date on data communications technologies and issues, this would probably be the one. Not as trendy as some, its articles tend to be complete and aimed at educating the reader.
Wired Magazine

www.wired.com

Among other things, Wired has been described as avant-garde, self-absorbed, and the bible of the digerati. Regardless, it is a constant source for provocative, future-oriented articles centered around technology, computing, and telecommunications. It also regularly features interviews with prominent technologists, futurists, and social commentators.

More periodicals will be added to this list during the Fall 1997 semester. A list of over 300 "magazines for and about computers and the Internet" can be found at MagNet.
